Covid-19 Protocol – Update

 

Dear clients, friends and family,

 

Due to the increasing number of cases, we are taking precautions as per Health Canada’s agenda and the Regional Health Authority, to stay ahead of the curve and remain open. In addition to this our costs have gone up considerably due to the availability of disposable coverings, tape, gloves and other PPE that we need to do our jobs and keep you safe. As such some things are changing. *

 

  • All appointments will be 18+ and by appointment only! Due to Covid-19 walk-ins will no longer be offered. At times we may still post that we have time available, in which case you can book it and show up at the time given to you. Please, under no circumstances, come to the shop to book without a consultation appointment. We strongly encourage clients to book a consultation appointment for all medium to large scale Custom Tattoos.

 

  • Cash or Etransfer will be the only accepted forms of payment.

 

  • All clients must shower before their appointment and wear clothes void of lint, dirt (this includes drywall particulates, paint etc.), and animal hair. Clients who are drunk, hungover, on drugs, taking drugs or herbal remedies that thin the blood, juicing, pregnant, breastfeeding, epileptic, sunburnt or just unhygienic will be turned away and will lose their deposit. Please drink lots of water and come hydrated to your appointment.

   

Custom Tattoo Clients - it is especially important that you shower prior to your appointment, wear clothing that is appropriate for the area that you are having tattooed. Clients that have an excess of hair where they will be tattooed are encouraged to use clippers or shave the area prior to their appointment in an effort to save time. Please refrain from bronzers, tanning, lotions or anything that contains or smells of coconut prior to your appointment.

 

Aesthetics (PMU) Clients – it is especially important that you shower prior to your appointment and remove all make-up. Please refrain from bronzers, tanning, lotions and make-up prior to your appointment. Clients must also avoid shaving, exfoliating, and waxing for several weeks prior to their appointment. In addition, if you wear contact lenses they need to be taken out prior to your appointment.

 

  • Please remove your footwear before entering the shop and make sure that you are wearing clean socks. Do not come in flip flops or open toed shoes unless you have brought clean socks with you to put on before entering the shop. Bare feet will not be allowed unless you are having your foot tattooed, in which case your sock can be removed once you are in the Custom Tattoo and Aesthetics (PMU) area.

 

  • Do not show up early for your appointment! To avoid interactions between clients and in order to practice social distancing as required whenever possible, please show up at the time assigned to you. We will do our best to try and stagger appointments to keep those interactions to a minimum and to maintain a one client at a time standard in accordance with the Regional Health Authority. As always, the shop will be cleaned between clients to the highest standard. Please remain outside of the shop until you are given the ok to enter. 

 

  • Upon entering you will be required to sanitize your hands and put on a mask if you haven’t got one on already. 

 

  • PPE - All clients must wear a mask, unless your procedure hinders you from doing so. You are encouraged to bring your own as we have limited stock, however if you do not have a mask, we will provide you with a disposable one for a charge of $5. Please note this price is subject to change without notice depending on our costs and availability from our suppliers. In addition, please do not under any circumstances wear disposable gloves to our shop, you will be asked to remove them before entering.

 

  • Only one client (18+), will be allowed in the shop at all times. The shop door will remain locked indefinitely and will be opened only to allow clients in and out. Please leave the entourage and the kids at home as they will not be allowed in the shop with you under any circumstance. No siblings, friends, hand holders, family etc. in the shop with you. Even if you are from the same household or traveled together for your appointments on the same day. Only 1 client will be allowed in the shop at a time. No exceptions!

 

  • Should you have or have had any symptoms of a flu, cold or Covid-19, or have been in contact with someone who has, within 14 days prior to your appointment, please message us on Facebook to re-book 72 hours prior to your appointment.

 

  • Re-booking - Failure to cancel and re-book 72 hours prior to your appointment will mean that your deposit is lost and you will have to re-deposit and re-book for another day. In addition to this you are only allowed to rebook an appointment once without loss of deposit and this must be done when rebooking. Please have a date(s) available when rebooking. Should you fail to rebook a new date and stick to it at the time of rebooking you will lose your deposit. We will not hold onto deposits while waiting for you to find a time that works for you as it is impossible to keep track of this without moving the deposit to an alternative date. In some instances, depending on the amount of time you have booked for your appointment, there may be additional fees.   • No shows will lose their deposit. Depending on the service and the amount of time booked, other fees may be encored. 

  • Other than water, pop or juice, with a resealable lid, or single serving candy packs, no outside food or snacks will be permitted. No subs, salads or other foods will be permitted. This too may be subject to change without notice as our guidelines from the Regional Health Authority change.

 

  • No cell phones will be permitted to be used while in the shop. They are to be put on silent and put away during your appointment outside of the tattoo area. If absolutely necessary, you can check your phone, when we take breaks, with permission from a team member. No photographs, phone calls, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, texting etc. or anything that requires the use of your camera inside the shop. No exceptions!

 

  • You will be required to re-sanitize your hands upon re-entry into the Custom Tattoo and Aesthetics (PMU) area if you leave to have a smoke, check your phone (if you have been given permission to do so) or go to the washroom.

 

  • Do not forget your Government Issued Photo ID! You will be required to fill out a form and or a questionnaire in which your valid government issued ID will be photocopied to. Failure to present this at the time of your appointment will mean that your deposit is lost and you will have to re-book for another day. In some instances, depending on the amount of time you have booked for your appointment, there may be additional fees. Custom Tattoo Clients

  • NEW shop rate as of December 1st, 2020 - $160/hour. If you are finishing a piece started prior to this date, the old rate will apply.

 

  • NEW shop min for custom tattoos $100 (under 30 minutes).

 

  • Time will be rounded up by the half hour. Please note that my power supply keeps track of time so that I don’t have to.

 

  • Time starts at the time of your appointment and ends when your bandage is on. Please note that smoke breaks, phone breaks and pain breaks will not be deducted from your time. I will deduct time (ie. bathroom breaks) as I see fit.

  • Set-up, drawing (last minute changes to artwork) and stenciling are considered time working.

 

  • Although the initial artwork is a free service, my time is not. Any time needed for small changes will be tacked on the day off as part of the appointment. In the case that a full re-draw is required, this will be at the client’s expense at a rate of $100/hr. Additionally the deposit will be lost and the appointment will be rebooked along with a new deposit and the client will be charged a set-up fee for the next appointment for wasted materials. Please provide all information and reference images at the time of booking to avoid these charges.  

 

  • Cancelations must be made 72 hours prior without loss of booking fee. Only one rebook, which needs to be made at time of cancellation is allowed. No shows or last-minute cancellations will forfeit their booking fee. A new booking fee will be required to rebook along with a set up fee of $50 for wasted materials.  Booking fees are non-refundable. No exceptions!

 

  • If 1/2 day booked - min charge is 3 hours regardless of how little you sit.

 

  • If full day booked min charge 5 hours regardless of how little you sit.

 

  • Gift Certificates not permitted towards merch, aftercare or deals.

 

  • 18+ no exceptions!

 

Aesthetics (PMU) Clients

  • Only offering brows, lash extensions and lift and tints.

  • Cancelations must be made 72 hours prior without loss of booking fee. Only one rebook, which needs to be made at time of cancellation is allowed. No shows or last-minute cancellations will forfeit their booking fee. A new booking fee will be required to rebook.  Booking fees are non-refundable. No exceptions!

  • Full set lashes: $110 (classic) $130 (hybrid) $150 (volume).

  • 2 week lash fill: $40 (classic) $45 (hybrid) $50 (volume).

  • 3 week lash fill: $55 (classic) $60 (hybrid) $65 (volume).

  • $200 booking fee required for all PMU brow appointments.

  • PMU brows $525 initial (includes complimentary suggested 6 week touch-up).

  • PMU brows colour boost $250.

  • Gift Certificates not permitted towards merch, aftercare or deals.

  • 18+ no exceptions!

 

Piercing Clients

Due to the new masking regulations, all appointments that would be considered “under-the-mask” effective November 19th will not be offered. Additionally, to cut our costs and cut down on inventory, even when these restrictions are lifted, we will no longer be offering piercing services. We apologize for any inconvenience but we want to make sure that you, and us stay safe in this uncertain and challenging time. Thank you so much for your understanding.
